Cruise Control: Rules & Regulations:

The starting point is at 4th Street and 2nd Avenue South. Registration for the cruise starts at 4:00pm in the South exhibition parking lot, North of the Grandstand. Participation is $10/vehicle. Vehicles to be entered in the cruise must be present at registration. Street Wheeler Car Club members will be on hand to determine who will be eligible for the Cruise. Vehicles should be Show and Shine ready, and entries will be limited to unique, modified, classic, rare and/or interesting vehicles. There will also be limited number of spaces for any one model of vehicle as determined by the Cruise Control judges.

The cruise will start at the corner of 4th Street and 2nd Avenue and the turn around point will be a block West of Mayor Magrath Drive. Logistically, it has been determined that 3rd Avenue is expected to hold a maximum of 500 cars during the Cruise. Roadways leading into 3rd Avenue will be blocked off and manned by volunteers from 7:00 pm to 10:30pm, with the exception of 13th Street and Stafford Drive where traffic will be controlled manually by the City Traffic and Police department. All other lights on 3rd Ave will also be controlled by the City Traffic and Police department. Pedestriens are encouraged and reminded to cross only at intersections throughout the event.
